Born in Hancock, Michigan, Dr. Pesola attended Michigan Technological University. He received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and then completed his cardiology fellowship at Sinai Hospital of Detroit.

Dr. Pesola is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. He has practiced with Upper Michigan Cardiovascular Associates, P.C. since 1985 where he performs general and interventional cardiology. Dr. Pesola is also actively involved with the training and education of medical students and MGH Family Practice Residents.

Dr. Pesola enjoys spending his free time with his two daughters, Abbie and Kellie. He also enjoys scuba diving, horseback riding and traveling.
