Originally from Canada, Dr. Gencheff completed his undergraduate education at the University of Toronto. He then went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Osteopathic Medicine & Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. Following medical school, Dr. Gencheff completed his internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit and went on to complete his cardiology fellowship at Case Western Reserve with a subsequent interventional fellowship in Milwaukee. He has been practicing with Upper Michigan Cardiovascular Associates, P.C. since 1995.
He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiology. Dr. Gencheff’s main area of interest is in interventional cardiology and he is currently the Medical Director of the Lipid Clinic at Cardiovascular Associates.
Dr. Gencheff enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Stephanie, and their three children, Alexandra, Gabriel, and Eric. He is fond of traveling and enjoys fine foods and cuisines.
